Avocado Oil Roasted Nuts Recipe with AEVO

Ingredients: -

  • 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc.)
  • 2 tbsp AEVO Oil (Avocado Extra Virgin Oil)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)

Directions: -

1. Preheat the Oven: -

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). 

2. Prepare the Nuts: -

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts with AEVO Oil. Toss until the nuts are evenly coated with the oil.

3. Seasoning Mix: -

  • In a small bowl, mix together sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. If you prefer a touch of sweetness, add maple syrup or honey to the mix.

4. Coat with Seasoning: -

  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the nuts and toss well, ensuring an even coating of the seasoning on all the nuts.

5. Spread on Baking Sheet: -

  • Spread the seasoned nuts evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they are in a single layer for even roasting.

6. Roast in the Oven: -

  • Roast the nuts in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown, stirring once halfway through to ensure even roasting.

7. Cool and Serve: -

  • Remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool completely. The nuts will continue to crisp up as they cool.
