1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons AEVO Avocado Oil
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 large carrot, julienned
1 small onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
1. Prepare the Beef:-
Marinate the beef slices with 1 tablespoon of AEVO Avocado Oil, half of the minced garlic, and half of the minced ginger. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
2. Cook the Vegetables:-
Heat 1 tablespoon of AEVO Avocado Oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the remaining garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and carrots. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the Beef:-
In the same skillet, add the marinated beef. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
