Grilled Lemon Herb Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:-

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons AEVO Extra Virgin Avocado Oil
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Method:-

1. Marinate the Chicken:-

  • In a bowl, combine AEVO Extra Virgin Avocado Oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well-coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours for maximum flavor.

2. Prepare the Grill:-

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F / 190-200°C).
  • Brush the grill grates with a little AEVO Extra Virgin Avocado Oil to prevent sticking.

3. Grill the Chicken:-

  • Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
  • Place the chicken on the preheated grill.
  • Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is nicely charred and cooked through.

4. Rest and Serve:-

  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with a fresh lemon wedge and your choice of sides.
