Guacamole & Chips for Party Dips with Avocado Oil

Ingredients for Guacamole:

  • 3 ripe avocados (peeled, pitted, and mashed)
  • 1 small red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon AEVO Avocado Oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients for Chips:

  • 6 small corn tortillas (cut into wedges)
  • 2 tablespoons AEVO Avocado Oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions:

For Guacamole:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the avocados using a fork until smooth but slightly chunky.
  2. Add the red onion, tomato, cilantro, and minced garlic. Mix gently to combine.
  3. Stir in the lime juice, AEVO Avocado Oil, cumin powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before serving for optimal flavor.

For Chips:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or set an air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the tortilla wedges with AEVO Avocado Oil until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet or air fryer basket. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Bake or air fry for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. Let the chips cool slightly before serving with guacamole.
